Wiersholm Scholarship

Each term Wiersholm offers scholarships to students who would like to write their 30-credit master’s thesis. We emphasise that the subject of the thesis must lie within our practice areas, and our intention is for us to find a suitable subject together.

Students who write their thesis with us will not be assigned any other duties by the firm. However, we encourage that you participate in department meetings and internal professional seminars in order to gain insight into the everyday life of a business lawyer and life at our firm. Scholarship recipients are of course welcome to participate at all the social events held by Wiersholm during their scholarship programme.

As part of the scholarship programme, we offer:

A scholarship of NOK 30,000

A personal mentor among our lawyers who is a specialist in the relevant
legal field

Affiliation with the relevant marketing department, including participation in
the department’s meetings and internal seminars

Own office at Wiersholm’s offices in Vika, Oslo

Access to all our office facilities, including a well-stocked library, legal
databases, printing and copying

A good social environment

Who can apply for the Wiersholm scholarship?

We recruit candidates for the scholarship programme primarily from among former trainees at Wiersholm, but other applicants will also be considered.
