Wiersholm’s Summer SchoolThe Wiersholm Summer School is held for a short week in August and is tailored to students contemplating a career in a business-oriented law firm. We will be holding our Summer School for the fourth time in August 2010. Below you will find information on the course programme, “admission criteria” and information on the application process, as well as a reason for why this may be just as good as spending a week on the beach this summer.
Wiersholm Summer School is a four-day intensive programme that takes place in Oslo just before the start of school in August. The programme will give you: A taste of life as a business lawyer, Training in examination-relevant subjects through lectures, group exercises and interactive exercises, and Many social and fun activities together with other students and Wiersholm’s lawyers.
The course programme covers, for example: Negotiation techniques Practical dispute resolution and litigation Witness psychology and witness examination Simulated negotiations and litigation training
We can promise a tough week with a lot of academic input, as well as pleasant social activities during warm summer days. During the course you will also gain insight into our working environment and get to know Wiersholm’s partners and employees.We have a continuous admission process, but we recommend that you apply as soon as possible due to the limited space available. You should ideally have completed your third year at the time of the course.
