Why did you choose Wiersholm as a place to work?

”I had two traineeships at Wiersholm while I was in law school, and also wrote my master’s thesis here. During these periods I got the impression that Wiersholm maintains a very high level of professionalism and has exciting clients, but not least that Wiersholm is also a workplace where the social environment is a high priority. My choice was therefore pretty easy, and I’ve had no regrets.”

What challenges and opportunities do you have at Wiersholm?

“Wiersholm offers its clients special expertise in all key areas of business law. As a recent law school graduate you also get the opportunity to hone your skills on challenging jobs in the areas of law that you are interested in. For my part it means that I have been given the opportunity to work with more experienced lawyers on major disputes, and the opportunity to handle many lawsuits by myself.”

How is the working environment?

”Very good. It’s my experience that job satisfaction and teamwork are values shared by everyone who works here. The more experienced lawyers are good at prioritizing follow-up and working with us who are just starting our careers, and the internal working atmosphere is very informal and collegial. During the year many social events and activities are also organized, including cabin trips to Hemsedal and the monthly Friday beer on the roof terrace. Such events are not only important just for the sake of enjoyment, but they also help to forge bonds that we benefit from while performing work for our clients.”

What else is significant to you?

”Wiersholm offers flexible work hours and comp time. This suits me well since it gives me an opportunity to take long ski weekends during the winter.”
