Our People

Wiersholm is one of Norway's leading law firms with 128 lawyers and a total of 180 employees, all gathered in one office in Oslo.

   Partners
       The firm has 39 partners. Nearly half of our partners are admitted to
       practice before the Supreme Court. Partners participate actively in
       every aspect of legal practice, and there is a partner in charge of each
       team of associates, to ensure that every assignment is resolved efficiently
       and with the highest possible professional standards.

   Lawyers
       Under the category Lawyers all our lawyers are presented (partners, senior
       associates and associates).

   Paralegals
       Wiersholm has several skilled paralegals who assist our lawyers.
       The paralegals are non-lawyers who have completed the Norwegian Law
       Society's special education and received training to handle practical legal
       tasks such as the incorporation of companies and similar matters.

   Administration
       A large law firm also requires professional and skilled administration
       resources to function efficiently. The administration comprises managers
       for administrative functions, finances/accounting and ICT. Apart from
       secretaries, accounting clerks and ICT personnel, we have staff in the
       departments of human resources, library and knowledge management.

   Board of Directors
       Wiersholm has a Board of Directors comprising six elected partners and two
       staff representatives.

       Erik Thyness is the managing partner of the firm.
