For many years, Wiersholm has been an active advisor in processes from the “good idea” to the finished product, ready for commercialisation. Our Venture Capital group has assisted with advice on this type of commercialisation process for many years. In this process, the choice of relevant organisation (Limited company, partnership, limited partnership etc.), financing (public and private funds), revenue models and business plans (sales licensing etc.) as well as methods of protection (patents etc.) have been the most central considerations.
Furthermore, our Venture capital group has assisted with advice and planning in connection with the various models to safeguard the relationship between the inventor and the commercial operator (often in universities and schools) as well as organisation and business plans for the aforementioned commercial operators.
