Control Measures
The use of control measures in relation to employees is a complex legal area, and the rules are under continuous review and development. The Worker Protection and Working Environment Act entered into force on 1 January 2006, and it implemented certain regulations concerning the employer’s right to initiate control measures in relation to employees. The employer’s need to initiate control measures often goes beyond what is permitted by law, and there is a considerable risk of slipping up. Wiersholm’s employment law team can assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of control measures.
