Governmental Regulation
Many aspects of the private business sector in Norway are subject to government regulation. Many private companies are required to obtain a permit to engage in their business activities, or parts thereof. Extensive rules in laws and regulations stipulate procedural and reporting requirements, and a large portion of the private business sector is subject to supervision.
Wiersholm has extensive expertise in public law and long experience in assisting private enterprises in their contact with public authorities, whether it concerns the preparation of applications for licences etc., follow-up of applications, negotiations, appeals or litigation.
