Olav Fr. Perland works primarily with dispute resolution and advising in company and contract law. He has particular experience with liability cases, including directors’ liability, professional liability and liability for misrepresentation. Olav Fr. Perland is head of and a lecturer of the subject "Company law 2 – transactions, stock exchange and securities law" in the master study of business and economics and the subject "securities law" in the bachelor study of finance, both at The Norwegian School of Management (BI). He is also the author of several articles within his areas of practice.
Olav Fr. Perland has a Ph.D from the University of Bergen with the thesis ”Manager/underwriter liability – Investment firms’ liability in connection with placement of shares”.
Olav Fr. Perland is ranked amongst Norway's most prominent lawyers in the category dispute resolution in Chambers Global 2013. |
